The name: Baby Love

The name "Baby Love" is a family nickname. My husband has been calling me Baby Love for the past 12 years and counting. Actually, come to think of it, I don't recall the last time he actually called me by my real name; wonder if he still remembers it? Strangely enough, I call him the same nickname! Anyone who visits our home will probably hear the name Baby Love at least 1200 times a day in our house. It's our thing!

The Cupcakes: Scrumptious!

I wish I had some heartwarming story to share of how my mother and I would spent hours in the kitchen baking cupcakes together, but the reality is cupcake baking came from my endless desire to "create". As a makeup artist I simply love color, texture, and design, but as a mother of two young children I found the makeup business took me away from their smiling little faces and I could not have that! So, to get my artistic fix I found joy in playing with flour, sugar, chocolate, well you get the picture. Viola! Pretty little cupcakes were born, or should I say BAKED!
